Carduus is known to relieve dyspepsia, acidity, heartburn and gastralgia.

• Supports Liver Regeneration: It is commonly utilised for managing liver conditions such as cirrhosis, hepatitis, and fatty liver. It may help cleanse the liver and assist in regenerating liver cells.
• Manages Enlarged Liver and Spleen: Dr Willmar Schwabe India Carduus Marianus Pentarkan Ptk 23 Tablet is used for managing liver inflammation, spleen enlargement, and a tight sensation in the liver area. It is especially beneficial when liver problems are coupled with heart disease, albumin in the urine, and dropsy of the limbs.
• Reduces Nausea: It may help manage conditions including hepatocellular jaundice and toxic liver damage. It can also help relieve infantile jaundice caused by liver damage from heavy drinking or alcohol abuse. It helps with the management of nausea and vomiting, as well as supporting digestion and detoxification in the body.
• Regulates Sluggish Liver: It is an herbal supplement intended to support healthy liver function. It protects the liver from toxic substances, supporting its overall health. Dosage: Unless otherwise prescribed, Carduus marianus Pentarkan ® (WSI) should be taken as follows:

For acute complaints, 1 tablet should be taken at hourly intervals until an improvement occurs, up to a maximum of 12 times a day. For subsequent treatment, 1 tablet should be taken 3 times a day.

Children should be given half of the adult dose.
